It was enrolment day for part time IT students at Midland TAFE today, so I thought I would go down and see if i could find something interesting to enroll in.
I was particularly hoping to do some more networking stuff, but it seems they just cant get enough students on the part time level so I guess that is that.

It also turns out that all the web design stuff available there for part time students, I have already completed.
Thankfully it wasn’t a complete waste of a drive. I asked if I could do some of the full-time stream on a part time level, after all, my afternoons are free, and they suggested I go and talk to the lecturer in charge of the IT course.

He said that the networking course was full so there wasn’t any chance of getting in on that, (ironic seeing as they can’t fill it on part time) but I wouldn’t have a problem getting in on the web design/application course.
So starting next month, I’ll be studying on Monday and Tuesday afternoon, and I will be learning how to set up web servers, server security and that kind of thing.

That works out kind of well, as I have been thinking about doing something like that for a little while.
